Our editions are offered at flat-rate pricing in U.S. dollars. Your project is reserved by completing secure checkout through Stripe, where payment is collected at the time of booking.

If your project falls outside our standard editions, we’ll prepare a custom quote before any work begins. Production starts only after you’ve approved the quote and payment has been received.

Your place in our production schedule is confirmed once we’ve received your payment, completed manuscript, and any required project materials. Expedited turnaround options are available through our website, subject to studio availability.

Our standard production timeline is five business days from the date we receive your completed manuscript, payment, and any required project materials.

If you’d like your project completed sooner, expedited production is available, subject to studio availability. Current turnaround options and pricing are listed on our website.

Your production timeline begins once we have everything needed to start. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. public holidays.

If we’re waiting for files, revision feedback, approvals, or other required information, your project timeline will pause until we’re able to continue. We’ll always keep you informed of your project’s status.

If we haven’t heard from you for 60 days while awaiting materials or approval, your project may be placed on hold and closed. We’ll always reach out before doing so. If you choose to resume your project later, it may re-enter our current production queue. Fees for completed work remain non-refundable.

Every edition includes a proof and revision rounds designed to refine your project before final delivery. The number of included revision rounds varies by edition and is outlined on your selected edition page.

Revision rounds are intended to refine the design we’ve created together: adjustments to layout, typography, spacing, styling, and other production details that bring your project to its finished form.

If you’d like to explore an entirely different creative direction after design work has begun, we’ll gladly provide a separate quote before proceeding. Likewise, if you’ve used your included revision rounds and would like additional refinements, extra revision rounds are available through our Signature À La Carte services.

No additional work is ever completed or billed without your approval.

Every project we undertake is custom-produced specifically for your manuscript. Because work begins immediately and cannot be resold or transferred to another client, fees become non-refundable once production has started.

If you need to cancel before production begins, simply let us know. We’ll issue a full refund with no questions asked.

Once your proof is delivered, your included revision rounds are there to refine the work until it reflects the agreed-upon scope of your edition.

If we introduce a production error, we’ll correct it promptly at no additional charge.

If you have a concern at any stage, please contact us directly before initiating a payment dispute. We are committed to resolving issues professionally and in good faith. Chargebacks for completed custom work may be disputed with documentation of the services provided and project correspondence.

Your completed files are delivered digitally and prepared for publication according to the edition you’ve selected.

Depending on your edition, you’ll receive a print-ready PDF, a professionally formatted ebook, or both. Editions that include publishing setup also include file upload and configuration for supported publishing platforms, including Amazon KDP.

We securely retain your completed project files for 90 days after delivery in case you need them resent or require a minor production correction. After that, they are permanently removed from our systems. We recommend keeping your own backup copies of all final deliverables.

Your book is yours. You retain full copyright and ownership of your manuscript, text, and creative content at every stage. Signature Manuscripts claims no ownership of your work.

Once your project has been delivered and payment has been received in full, all completed files created for your edition, including interior layouts and any custom cover artwork, are yours to publish, distribute, and use without restriction.

From time to time, we may showcase completed projects as part of our portfolio. If you’d prefer your project remain confidential, simply let us know before production begins, and we’ll gladly keep your work private.

To ensure a smooth production process, please provide your manuscript as a completed Microsoft Word document that has been fully proofread and is ready for formatting. Signature Manuscripts is a publishing production studio, so we format and design the content you provide. Copyediting, proofreading, and rewriting are not included unless arranged separately.

If you have preferences for trim size, typography, chapter styling, or examples of books whose design you admire, we encourage you to share them before production begins. These details help us create an edition that reflects your vision.

Before final delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to review a proof and request any revisions included with your edition. Your final approval confirms that the files are ready for publication.

By submitting your manuscript, you confirm that you own, or have permission to use, all text, images, fonts, and other materials provided for your project. Any claims relating to client-supplied content remain the responsibility of the client.

Signature Manuscripts provides professional formatting, cover design, and publishing production services. While we prepare every project to meet current publishing specifications, we cannot guarantee book sales, reviews, rankings, retailer approval, or publishing platform acceptance.

Publishing platforms occasionally update their technical requirements. If a revision is needed because of an error introduced during our production process, we’ll correct it promptly at no additional charge. Changes resulting from retailer updates, platform policy changes, client-supplied content, or account-related issues fall outside the scope of our responsibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount paid for the applicable edition. Signature Manuscripts is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales, royalties, business opportunities, or third-party production expenses.

If a concern arises, we ask that you contact us first. We believe most issues can be resolved quickly through open communication, and we’re committed to addressing them professionally and in good faith.

These Terms & Policies are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal proceedings relating to our services shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the State of Florida.
